Geographical Information
Eritrea is situating along the red sea (around 1 200 km of coast). Eritrea is as large as England with an area of more than 46 000 square miles. This includes more
than 350 islands of which some 210, in the area of Dahlak archipelago.
Eritrea shares its borders with Sudan in the North West, Ethiopia and Djibouti in the south and the read sea in the east.

Regarding the climate, Eritrea can be divided into three major climatic zones:

Central Highlands with the hottest month in May, winter between December and February when lows can be near freezing point at night.
